11. March, 2009RiZhao "lefse"![]() RiZhao thin bread is a speciality of XiaoMei’s hometown. The funny thing is that my Norwegian home town also has a similar traditional “lefse”, although not so hard. From what I understand I passed the “thin bread test” (some of XiaoMei’s sister’s former boyfriends didn’t like it as it’s hard/ chewy..), as a matter of fact I even cherish it in Shanghai as her parents made us bring a solid portion here. RiZhao lefse er en spesialitet i Veslemøys hjemby. Lillehammer er jo også kjent for sine tradisjonelle lefser, skjønt de er mykere og mindre seige. Fra hva jeg kunne forstå bestod jeg ”lefsetesten” med glans (noen av Veslemøy’s søsters ekskjærester likte det ikke), dessuten momser jeg det gjerne i vei også her i Shanghai siden vi fikk sendt med en solid porsjon.
