Ascending Mount TaiShan

IMG_1702.jpg
It takes some hours (3-4) to ascend mount TaiShan, 1545 meters above the sea at its highest point. Here a picture of the road winding its way up the last part. This trip was a great start marking the first day of the new Chinese year, making good prospects for the year to come.

PS: “Mount TaiShan is one of the "Five Sacred Mountains of Taoism". It is associated with sunrise, birth, and renewal, and is often regarded the foremost of the five. The temples on its slopes have been a destination for pilgrims for 3,000 years.”and is protected by the UNESCO world heritage list.

Det tar noen timer (3-4) å gå opp til toppen av fjellet TaiShan, 1545 meter over havet høyeste punkt. Her bildet av siste biten. Denne turen var en flott markering på det kinesiske nye årets første dag, med gode utsikter for det nye året.
