29. August, 2010African beer - so what?![]() So here we go again – the 20th (my 2nd) international beer festival in Qindao. I have no idea why they call it “international” because it couldn’t have been made in a more “ultra-chinese” way, and the beers are mostly brewed in China. It’s is a feast for sure, but the 20 plus beer tents are all full of entertainment only Chinese can find amusing, and you better like BBQ meat sticks with Chinese flavoring. It’s worth a trip if you happened to be in Qingdao, nothing more. King Oryx is supposedly from Tanzania – produced in China, and tastes just as the rest. Written by Shanghaiet @ 15:29. 0 comment(s) |
