"SkoNo"

CIMG5061.jpg
Walking up and down the streets of Seoul we bumped into some “supposedly
Norwegian” shoes by the brand “SkoNo”, all complete with the Norwegian
flag,.. attached to a shoe with a rather Swedish design…
http://www.skono.co.kr/sub01/brand.html

Folk Museum, ancient hair styles

CIMG5090.jpg
Here is a photo from a folk museum with a very interesting collection.

Her er ett bilde fra ett Koreansk folkemuseum, med bl.a. visning av
tradisjonelle håroppsett.

Guard exchange seremony

CIMG5079.jpg
The emperor’s guard exchange (now a tourist ritual).

Keiserens vaktstyrke har vaktskifte (nå ett turist-rituale).

Fantastic hosts in Korea

CIMG5110.jpg
In Korea I was taken excellent care of by Kim and his family. Although his parents did not speak English they made me feel very welcome and at home. A great place and a great host. Here on this picture treating me with a traditional dinner.

Busan Express

CIMG5150.jpg
We took the express train down to Busan where we stayed a couple of days. It
is a major port, a big city, and is the most famous beach city in Korea as
well. Pretty good, good enough for getting so sun burnt the skin on my
shoulders peeled off a week later..

Fresh! Sashimi

CIMG5158.jpg
The freshest fish for delicious raw Sashimi you have to catch yourself, and even if it is a fish from an aquarium it can be pretty tricky. From the fish market, it is just to take the stairs up to the restaurant where the fish is prepared!

Korean massage bed invention

CIMG5174.jpg
This was Kim’s former workplace, he was a physiotherapist in a communal
service centre

seng, meget bra!

Ferry Korea -> China

CIMG5176.jpg
I am testing out the ferry connection between Seoul and Qingdao, pretty
decent, but only a means of transportation, not the kind of “party boat”
that we are used to in North of Europe.
