Sun screen SPF 30

IMG_0314.jpg
Both I and Veslemøy are quite worried about our skin, so we both used sun block on our skin, only difference was that while I actually enjoy “frying” in the sun, Veslemøy preferred shadows from plam trees.

Snorkling among coral reefs

IMG_0328.jpg
Although born and raised in a coastal town of China, the first time Veslemøy took the opportunity to swim in the ocean, was in Malasia and then even among colorful fishes and choral reefs.

5 star luxury

IMG_0197.jpg
5 star luxury comes at a price, but how much? I’m Mr Hansen in room 105,.. ehh, well it worked out.

Cheaper than China

IMG_0371.jpg
The footstalls and markets were actually considerable cheaper than China, and the abundant access to fresh fish quite an asset.

Coconu drink and tequila "sunset"

Very nice relaxing at the Kinabalu seaside café-pubs, and not as crazy and commercial as Thailand.

Open air folk Museum

IMG_0460.jpg
To preserve their cultural heritage, the Sabah region has created an open air folk museum, complete with buildings from several areas and techniques. When we were there, we were also lucky enough to take part in the annual event where all buildings come to life with traditional activities, such as craftwork etc.

A waste of energy?

IMG_0420.jpg
This guy definitely knew how to shape ceramics, however when he was done with all the items on the table to the left, he simply put everything together again into a big ball of clay. Today only for demonstration purposes.

Traditional wedding costumes

IMG_0404b.jpg
Eventually, the tourists became the attraction, and we had numerous pictures taken of us.

Lethal weapon?

IMG_0372.jpg
If inserted with poison, I guess this weapon could be quite deadly, even quite precise as well.
